KONG COLLAPSE TOP ADVENTURE’S DETAILED SCHEDULE

Day 1: Pick-Up Time And Train The Important Skills

Initially, our private car and driver will pick you up at Dong Hoi City or Phong Nha Town. Then, you will stay at Phong Nha village homestay to prepare for Kong Collapse Top Adventure 5 Days 4 Nights in the National Park.

8:30 am: The tour guide will pick you up from your homestay in Phong Nha to the headquarters for a training class on cave safety skills. Therefore, you will be training for one day to ensure safety when doing this tour.

12:00: It is time for you to have lunch and rest to prepare for the afternoon skills training.

2:30 pm – 5:30 pm: A team of cave safety experts will continue to guide you on the single rope technique (SRT). They will teach you how to use safety rope swing equipment and practice swinging right at the skill training area of the headquarters.

6:00 pm: Welcome dinner. After dinner, the car will take you back to the homestay to rest and prepare for the next four days.

Day 2: Phong Nha – Road 20 Quyet Thang – Tiger Cave

Morning Itinerary

8:30 am: Our private car and guide will pick you up at the homestay and take you back to the headquarters. After that, they will check your hiking gear as well as your personal equipment.

9:15 am: Depart to discover the mystery of the deep forest at a distance of about 11 kilometers. The car will take the group along 20 Quyet Thang Street (Road 20 Victory) for about 45 minutes and stop at km 24. It is the starting point of the trekking route.

10:00 am: Start hiking through Phong Nha – Ke Bang forest. The route from the starting point is quite easy. However, the terrain is increasingly changing, and the road becomes more difficult after 1 hour of hiking before reaching the Doc Gio (Wind Slope).

12:30: Arrival at the top of the Wind Slope and have lunch here to recharge the energy for the afternoon. It is the time to rest and take beautiful photos at this spot.

Afternoon Itinerary

1:30 pm: Continue the journey of Kong Collapse Top adventure 5 days 4 nights is to trek to the lower door of Dai A cave, also known as Tiger Cave.

2:00 pm: The slope increases day by day as you move to the area of Doc Luon, also known as the Grass Slope. Significantly, this slope is very slippery with a deep slope so you have to move carefully. Don’t worry, because trees and forest ropes will be great fulcrums to help you conquer Dốc Lươn.

4:00 pm: After 2 hours of hiking, you will reach the lower entrance of Tiger Cave and prepare camping gear.

4:00–4:30 pm: This is the time for you to swim at the entrance of Tiger Cave.

5:00–6:00 pm: We will camp at the Tiger Cave entrance during this time.

6:00 – 9:30: pm: It’s time for dinner, relax, chat, and make friends with local porters.

9:30 pm: Go to bed to prepare for the next day.

Day 3: Explore The Kong Collapse’s Mysteries

8:00 am: Breakfast at the campsite.

9:00 am: We start walking from the mouth of the Tiger Cave to the right corner of Kong Collapse. Afterward, prepare for the challenge of abseiling 100m down the sinkhole by ropes with three parts 30m, 20m, and 50m.

10:00 am – 3:00 pm: You will start abseiling from the eye socket of the sinkhole and have a light lunch here.

3:00 – 5:00 pm: Explore the back entrance of Tiger Cave and the extended caves of the Kong Collapse sinkhole.

5:00 – 6:30 pm: Take a rest, take photos, and swim in the underground river in Kong Collapse near the campsite.

6:30 – 9:30 pm: Time to enjoy dinner, relax, and capture photos.

9:30 pm: Going to bed to prepare for the Kong Collapse Top Adventure the next day with a full day completely underground.

Day 4: A Fabulous Subterranean Day

Morning Itinerary

8:00 am: You will have breakfast at the camping area.

8:00 – 9:00 am: Take photos and check in at Turtle Rock inside the sinkhole to save memorable experiences.

9:00 – 10:00 am: Explore the Tiger Cave’s exit. Some parts of the cave require you to swim through them, so you will need to change into a swimsuit. Notably, the longest swimming segment is about 300m.

10:00 am: We start exploring Hang Over with a length of 3.2km. Plus, Hang Over Cave is the longest cave in the Tiger Cave system with many beautiful and majestic stalactites.

Noon: You will have lunch inside the Over Cave.

Afternoon Itinerary

1:00 pm: Keep doing the Kong Collapse Top Adventure, we continue to explore the Over Cave to reach the Massive Attack area. This is a very large space, with a height of 80m and a width of 125m. Therefore, save great photos and unforgettable memories here.

2:00 pm: Then, we will go through the sinkhole between Over Cave and Pygmy Cave to explore Pygmy Cave, the fourth largest cave in the world!

2:30 – 4:00 pm: We will explore Pygmy Cave. Firstly, you will follow an 80m in length safety rope to explore Hang Pygmy. Next, the Dinosaur Back section will be a challenge when you have to abseil down a 15m high cliff to reach Pygmy Cave’s bottom.

4:00 – 6:00 pm: Take pictures at the Pygmy cave’s entrance. Afterward, you will swim at the secret pool hidden deep inside the Pygmy Cave.

6:00 – 9:00 pm: Dinner, talk to each other at Pygmy Cave’s campsite.

Day 5: Pygmy Cave – Victory 20 Road – Ends Tour

8:00 am: Have breakfast at the campsite and take souvenir photos at Pygmy Cave with the whole group. Then, pack up and prepare to go.

9:00 am: Goodbye Pygmy Cave to continue the journey to conquer the green forest with a distance of 9km. Leaving Pygmy Cave, you will trek through limestone mountains and valleys one after another. Thus, the hiking route is quite arduous and challenging with many steep slopes.

10:30 am: We arrive at the Grass slope. It is quite high, slippery, and steep. If it rains, you may be lucky to encounter shallow streams and beautiful waterfalls, typically May Waterfall.

Noon: Stop for lunch on the way.

2:00 pm: Arrive at 20 Quyet Thang Street, and enjoy a cold drink before our private car driver transfers you back to the headquarters.

3:00 pm: Return to the headquarters, check in your homestay, and take a shower.

What Should You Bring In Our Kong Collapse Top Adventure Tour?
