Tour Briefing

• At 7:30, Hue hotel picks up and visits La Vang Holy Land.

• Admire the Hien Luong Bridge– Ben Hai River (The former DMZ Vietnam boundary).
• Capture photos of the Rockpile, Dakrong Bridge, and the minority village of R’u.

• Have lunch at a local food restaurant at around 12:00.

Hue DMZ Tour Itinerary

At 7:30 Our Hue Private Car & driver will pick you up at your hotel in Hue city to start the Vietnam DMZ Tour.

The first stop we will visit is the La Vang Chuch. Our Lady of La Vang refers to an event of Marian’s apparition at a time when Catholics were persecuted and killed in Vietnam. To be grateful to the Marian, the Catholics built a shrine and cathedral to worship and it has become a famous pilgrimage site for Catholics in Vietnam and the world.

The next historic war relic in our Vietnam DMZ Tour is the battlefield Khe Sanh – a large Marine base camp attacked by a massive force of the North Vietnamese Army in early 1968 on the historic Road 9 linking with Laos and historic sites such as Ta Con Airfield, The Rockpile, the Ho Chi Minh Trail.

On the way to Khe Sanh Combat Base, we will stop to admire Rockpile Hill, Dakrong Bridge, and the minority village of R’u. Get back to the main road to have a lovely lunch at a local restaurant and take a short break at about 12:00.

At 13:00, After lunch, we continue the Hue DMZ Tour Full Day, we will explore the amazing tunnels of Vinh Moc, which remain untouched after years. These network tunnels offer you an authentic view of the underground life of the Viet Cong and the locals of Vinh Linh village during the U.S.-Vietnam War.

On the way to Vinh Moc tunnels, we will stop to learn more about Vietnam DMZ at the Hien Luong Bridge- Ben Hai River, the boundary between North and South Vietnam during wartime.
