Chan May Port Pickup Options

When booking our Chan May Port To Hue Tour, you can choose one of the following pickup options:

Option 1: Pickup Outside Chan May Port Gate

After leaving your cruise ship, please walk approximately 200 metres to the main port gate. Our driver and English-speaking local tour guide will wait for you with a welcome board displaying the lead passenger’s full name.

This is the standard pickup option included in the tour price. There is no additional port-access fee.

Option 2: Pickup Inside Chan May Port

For greater convenience, our licensed private vehicle can enter Chan May Port and pick you up near the cruise ship’s docking area. Our driver and tour guide will be waiting with a personalized welcome board.

Inside-port pickup requires an additional access fee of 25 USD per passenger, not per vehicle. All vehicles used for this option have the necessary permission to enter the port. Please request the service at least five days in advance so that we can complete the required arrangements.

Inside the complex, you can admire elaborate ceramic and glass mosaics, detailed carvings and the richly decorated Thien Dinh Palace. Your English-speaking local guide will explain the architectural symbolism, introduce the life of Emperor Khai Dinh and show you the most impressive places for photography.

Thien Mu Pagoda

Hue Imperial Citadel

The final chapter of our Chan May Port To Hue Tour takes place at Hue Imperial Citadel, the political, ceremonial and residential center of the Nguyen Dynasty from 1802 to 1945. This vast complex once witnessed the reigns of 13 emperors and many important events in Vietnam’s imperial history.
