My Son Sanctuary is the holy land, the worshiping area of the Champa Kingdom.  From the 4th to the 13th centuries, the Cham people built a series of impressive tower temples located in a dramatic site that was the religious and political capital of the Champa Kingdom for most of its existence.

HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN AND MY SON SANCTUARY TOUR

At 08:00 am: our tour guide and Hoi An private car will pick you up at your hotel/ homestay in Hoi An. To start the Hoi An ancient town and My Son Sanctuary, you will get a nice transfer to My Son Sanctuary.

Around 9:30 am: After 1 hour 10 minutes, we arrive at My Son Holy Land. Our tour guide will tell you an ancient story about the Champa Kingdom, how they lost their country and how we expanded the country. Then, we will take a golf car to get into the Holy Land area.

In front of you are some clusters of the Champa tower temples with fantastic architecture. Our knowledgeable guide will tell you more about Linga, Yoni and their function in the temple of My Son. Plus, you will learn more about how special architecture, building technics as well as worshiping ceremonies.

Due to the bombs of the wars, so most of the temples in My Son Sanctuary are gone and ruined. Nowadays, there are about 70 structures; the vestiges of 25 of which remain today in the Holyland.

In the Hoi An ancient town and My Son Sanctuary tour, you will have a chance to enjoy the wonderful Apsara Dance (Shiva Dance) in My Son Sanctuary Theater.

Around 12:30: We will transfer you back to Hoi An ancient town to have a lovely lunch at a beautiful local restaurant.

At 14:00: We continue the Hoi An ancient town and My Son Sanctuary tour by exploring the Hoi An ancient town. There ate some highlights in the ancient town that our guide will show you such as the Japanese covered bridge, Phuc Kien Chinese assembly hall, the Kwan Temple, Tan Ky old house.

Another interesting thing in the Hoi An ancient town and My Son Sanctuary tour is the Hoi An theater. This is a nice place where we will enjoy dramas, plays, dance, and play Bingo games for about 30 minutes and then we will visit Hoi An market.
