HUE CITY TOUR HALF DAY

At 8:00 our Hue private car and local guide will pick you up at your hotel/ homestay in Hue and we start the great Hue City Tour Half Day Group Tour. This morning we will have a lot of interesting activities such as

Take a dragon boat to go along the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda– the ancient and sacred pagodas in central Vietnam built in 1601.

After that, we will spend about 2 hours exploring the complex of Hue Citadel, Royal City, and Forbidden City- the former residence and working area of the Nguyen Dynasty from 1802 to 1945.

Spend 30 minutes at Dong Ba Market, the last place on the morning of the Hue half-day city tour. At around 12:30, we will have a lovely lunch at a local food restaurant to sample all the Hue specialties.

If you don’t have time for the morning part, you also can join us for the afternoon part. At about 13:30 we will pick you up at your hotel/ homestay in Hue and we start the Hue city tour half-day afternoon part.

The minivan with a local guide will take you to visit selected Hue royal tombs of the Nguyen Dynasty emperors. We will start the wonderful afternoon with some attractions

Minh Mang’s tomb was the royal tomb of the 2nd emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty. It can be said that typical, and beautiful of the Nguyen Dynasty’s traditional royal architecture. Not only attractive to the great Fengshui setting, and architecture but also the scary secrets.

After that, it will take us about 40 minutes to admire the most expensive and beautiful royal tomb of Khai  Dinh. Constructed in 1920, the Khai Dinh Tomb is the top of inlaid ceramics and porcelain on the walls for decoration. You will be overwhelmed with its unique blend of Western and Eastern, modern and old, Buddhism, Hinduism as well as Christianity.

Last but not least in our Hue city tour half-day is the Hue Incense-making village. With over 200 years of history of making and providing incense to the court; Thuy Xuan Incense-making village is such a great place to admire the handicraft works and learn how to make incense by yourself.
